Want to get a view from PHers on this massive estate. We're looking at a few of the bigger homes which have double garages and rooms above them.

Have they opened any shops yet?

I live in Chineham,older estate next to SP
In my opinion, houses are lovely, estate is far too crowded, not enough parking.
Couple of shops are being built and will let on a peper corn rent, if they can find anyone to take them.

Biggest killer for me, they are just starting to connect the estate to the other side, by Chineham Business park, so it will be a rat run for people working in the park. Also a gypsy site is on appeal near the entrance to SP and 400/500 further houses being built close by in the next fee years.

I would prefer Old Basing if I had the money, but still like chineham as less crowded.
