My mate is getting married soon and were taking him out for his last dinner as a free man, his only request is steak, so looking for the restaurant that serves the best steak between Ascot and Farnborough. all suggestions are welcome.

Much bigger choice in London surely? Not sure if it's an option though?

I always enjoy Hawkesmoore when I go there
Not aware of that many good places round here so will be keeping an eye on this thread smile

Piccolino on the A30 in Sunningdale turns out some decent steaks, the scenery on a Friday night isn't too bad for a last night of freedom either wink

Ascot Grill is good in Ascot High Street. Smallish place, so book a table in advance.

Bit pricey and some of the clients are wannabe-posh tts though. Steaks are excellent though!

I've had a couple of decent ribeye steaks in The Aviator hotel.

Sopranos in Englefield Green do a very nice steak if you like ones with sauce on them.

Another vote for the Phoenix.
The Belvedere on the outskirts of Ascot used to be good but I've not been for a while.

Can you stretch the distance to Richmond; Gaucho's is awesome, I've eaten there 3 times now, the steak is to die for.

If Guildford is not too far away you can go to the Brazilian steak restaurant CAU. They pretty much only serve steak. Best I have ever had.
