Classic engine rebuild in Surrey

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend somewhere to rebuild/refurb a classic engine? It's a 1600 Humber Sceptre engine and is currently out of the car, but seized. The head will need skimming for sure as it blew a head gasket in the 1970s but there's probably plenty more work needing doing on the block as well. It's been sat around for decades and I want to get it running again as soon as I can.

If anyone has any pointers for someone who will be able to do a respray as well that would be useful - not looking for concours but just a nice new coat of paint.

Must be an old one as the ones I owned had 1725 motors
Did a full Holbay rebuild on one with twin 40's went quite well till the 289 v8 went it

He does a lot of RR and other historics.

Not Surrey, but near parts of Surrey: Roe Engineering in Fleet. I understand they've recently moved from Kings Road to near Redfields garden centre. I think it was Leon that I've dealt with in the past.

Thanks, will give him a call when I can. It's quite far to go but always worth chasing recommendations.
