Radio Signal - Camberley and Surrounding Areas

I struggle with x-fm in both the polo and the a6 between the VW sales garage and the Audi garage on the a30. I know that x-fm has a small frequency window but everywhere else it's fine. I did think it may be because of sandhurst army base, but it could simply just be a dead spot for the car.

I don't think it is a car problem!

I've had the misfortune to live in College Town for 5 years now, and in that time I've had FM reception issues with 5 cars in the immediate surroundings. TV reception is poor and BT internet is not good, but Virgin isn't an option as the area isn't cabled! I even lost the DAB signal several times around here in a courtesy car!

The presence of the Army Officers' training facility is the only reason I could think of - get a few miles away and FM works just fine!
