Not warning about the wash - they did a good job - but about pulling in for 30 mins to get it cleaned, driving away, and today getting a parking offence notification £100 from Gemini Parking Solutions.

I'll most defo be fighting that little injustice.

I thought the general consensus was don't pay fines placed by private companies - only those doled out by the Council?

Are they IAS or BPA? I can't be arsed to look.

If IAS then ignore there's nothing you can do except use the empty threat of debt collection letters as fire lighters. Kangaroo court.

If BPA then look over on MSE parking fine forums for advice. Quite simple really. I used to bait UKCPM into giving me tickets back when they were BPA operators. Had 20 in total and defeated them all using forum advice.

Ed ,all is not lost
still post it on pepipoo, and tell them you made a ricket by admitting you were driving. They could still help you out
There are many ways this can be challenged. Just do as they tell you, they might suggest you read some template on the forums, but whatever you do dont send anything in writing before they have given you letter the 'once over'

At the moment you are in the frame to pay £100.00 or whatever. These guys could make that zero. Now if that isnt worth some effort then what is?
by appealing you also cost the PPC 27.50 out of their own pocket!
MSE is money saving expert and couponmad on that site is schollrummum on pepipoo.
the best ones to take advice from are,in no particular order, Gan ( who writes some cracking appeal letters)Lynnzer, (have a look at the threads on John Lennon airport and Robin hood airport) hcandersen, incandescent,Madmick, in fact anyone with a high post count.
something i learned on there was the DYL ruling
The offence is from boundary fence to boundary fnce and not just the bits between the kerbs. a lot of people have been caught with this one. Unlike parking on the pavement where the zigzags are on ped xcrossings, those regs are kerb to kerb only. Councils who do you for yellow boxes, and the de minimus theory. all good stuff to read. there is a lot on parking you will say..'I never knew that' and that is what councils rely on.

Look like you may have hit a winner on there. Certainly hound the press as much as possible

As i said do exactly what they tell you. They are a good bunch of lads, and if you have time check out the thread on JLa. just shows what these ex clampers get up to to get money.
Fight them and dont pay, no income no firm!!!
