My son is interested in a car they have (just a trade in to clear) that they have - I am from Lanarkshire so obviously not a place I have heard of!

Anyone had any dealings with them? Recommend? Worth a 4 hour journey each way?

I live about 10 or so miles from them. My father had 3 or so vehicles from them, A3 diesel, Passat sport estate and a Polo dune. Dad would recommend them to anyone and Neville (owner) is a good guy who predominantly deals in VAG vehicles.

You certainly won't be finding their showroom by accident, it's pretty remote.

If you plan on getting the train up the nearest station is Keith. If Pickwick can't or don't offer to meet you there I could possibly take you. Happy to help where I can.

My mother and father has bought all sorts of Audis from Neville over the years, 6 or 7 to memory and I bought a set of alloys from him years ago. He works on the cars too and he almost seems to have OCD, as his workshop is so clean you could eat your dinner off the floor.

He's a top guy with quite a good reputation up here.

Cheers for the offer, really kind of you. If we do go up we will probably drive up then back down with the other car as well. Still to be decided but cheers anyway.

One of my mates has used them for his last 6 (mainly new Audi) cars, doesn't go anywhere else.

They do have a good reputation locally.

Thanks for the recommendations. This was a five grand Fiesta that they had taken in part ex.

However I was so impressed with Nev and the time he took to tell me all about the car, a virtual walk round, etc that I did what I have never done before- bought a car without seeing it never mind driving it!

Drove four hours from Lanarkshire up to collect car, after paying for it in advance, and was not disappointed.

Nev's garage and workshop is cleaner than my living room!

Son is delighted with his car and I can't recommend Nev and Pickwick Performance high enough!

Ha ha well I had looked on google maps before we went so knew it wasnt postioned on a Retail Park.......

But I did start to wonder when we ended up on the single track road but google maps took us right to the door.

Don't know the history but I am guessing this maybe started off as a hobby working from home buying and selling cars and then just grew to have a good reputation. The same week he was shipping two Audis down to England, both had been paid for without viewing.
