2nd day of working in Chineham today, so just getting used to the area. There has been a helicopter operating close to my office all day, caught a glimpse of it at lunch, looked like a Merlin. Anyone know where it is, and what it's doing?
Just to the north of Chineham is Bramley Army training base (also SAS operating base), helicopters will be frequent visitors. Used to be a munitions storage base, mustard gas & other unknown munitions still randomly buried there, they don't know how much & where
