Had a range of quotes so far, but as it looks like it's going to be an insurance job, who can I trust?

2 doors, front and rear wings (so effectively whole side of car).
2014 Audi Q3, Pearl(!) Red.

I want someone I can trust, ideally West Berkshire, but also North Hants, Reading, Basingstoke areas. Possibly as far west as Swindon.

Had quotes range from £700 to £2,500, so finding it hard to know where I should be going.

Lee.

Look up Riviera autobody, Grazeley.

I used them last month for my 360 (they were recommended on a Ferrari forum). The work I needed was a repair and repaint of the rear bumper because I'd smashed one corner. I intended to have the bumper replaced, but they (Ty) assured me it could be repaired as good as new.

Since that saved me the cost of a new bumper I decided to have the front bumper painted too to get rid of stone chips. That quickly turned into an entire front end respray to get rid of a few other imperfections (bumper, bonnet, wings and blended into doors I think). I don't know how far back they went, but I've always had a slight mark on my driver's door about a 1/3 of the way back and that's disappeared.

Absolutely first class job - the car is now better than when I bought it 3 years ago. Rear bumper is perfect, front end is perfect, all the scrapes underneath have gone.

I've used other paint shops in the past on other cars (in Camberley in fact) and they did a very good job, but this was in a whole different league.

I paid £1,400 + vat, which seemed a very good deal to me.

Highly recommended and it's the only place I'll be going in future.

Dick Lovett's bodyshop at Swindon is 1st class, not cheap but if you want a good paint match then I'd use them everytime

Riviera from me as well.
Tyrone the owner used to work for me years ago as did another of his lads.
Only 2 people I would trust to do my car, one is me and the other is Tyrone.

Ciao

I am in Newbury.

No decent bodyshops round local to me.

BMR in Newbury are supposedly good, we used to use them where I worked.

But when I went in for a private job it wasn't very good.

I use Lemass in Rickmansworth

Woodlands Autos in Newbury have a good reputation. Nowhere else here.

They repaired my friends Corsa vxr after we were crashed into.

full of filler some areas unreadable on a pdg.

Paint so soft you can literally squish it with your finger nail.

Awful job.

Looks like Specialised Paintwork in Reading will be used.

Weird that, as know of a dozen vans and cars coming out of there being well repaired even a mates volvo , which he dragged down some french armco in a very wet storm a couple of months back and didnt see it. Looked pretty clean to me.

Another vote for Riviera from me. And a downvote for Specialised Paintworks who did a poor job on my 928 (although that was many years ago so hopefully all has changed).

This guy is a perfectionist in Guildford - nothing too much trouble, very familiar with working on the most premium cars like Astons and Bentleys, and very good prices, have used him for many years on all my Porsches

It's currently at Specialised, hopefully ready early next week.
Called in on Friday and pre-polish, the paint looked good.
