Anyone know if a company close-ish to west Surrey that would do a really small anodising job (just coating a fuel filler cap and surround!) for me? I've found these guys - http://www.waltonplating.co.uk/index.asp - but I can't imagine they'd be particularly interested in a doing a quick one-off (and hopefully cheap!) job for a private individual?

Of should I just go the powder-coating route? confused

I know somewhere in carshalton who may do it. But thats probably too far?

I would not go with powder coat for anything which might get petrol on. It goes soft with contact with petrol.
As you are thinking anodising is what you need.

Yep, I think I'll definitely go for the anodising.. and I think I've found a firm just up the road that'll do the job.. win!

Acorn Plating are very conscientious and accommodate one-offs.
