Sure - even I took a photo of it (didn't photo anything else!). As I say, not much of interest, especially compared to the meet I linked to above.
Is there anyway of finding out about those meets without having inst/face/whatever?

I have no idea. I have missed out on loads and have Instafacetwix!

Only learnt about the other one because I noticed a thread this afternoon: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

There is a meet this Sunday, supercar fans!

Can someone (Hoofy?) less rubbish than me post the deets from the 'Gram?

See you all there.

I'll be in the 996 Turbo as usual. (I say usual, I did have the Golden Dildo for a while.)

Good couple of hours, usually! Used to be in the mornings, back in the day, so haven't done a 1pm one!

I'll be down with the dog (the literal dog, not the Fiat Panda) no doubt!

Thanks for posting the link, Hoofy!

Darn, I'll be braving the muddy car parks of the Goodwood Members Meeting on Sunday... enjoy though!

Yeah - I did think it was normally not an afternoon thing. I normally turn up really late (I don't do Sunday mornings!) but people stay beyond whatever time it normally stops.

There's something going on in Betchworth (supercar meet) and Blackbush (Porsche meet) in the morning so maybe they realised they'd get fewer people if they ran it in the morning.

I'd love to think that much effort was put in wink

I had been thinking of visiting the Black Swan even though the field is probably pretty soggy and I'm not a fan of early mornings!

But a 1pm start sounds a much better idea, although I've still got theA3/M25 junction to negoitate. frown

I’ve got a bit fed up with the Black Swan… you get up there at 8.30am and the car park is full of MX5’s, fast Fiats and MINIs. It used to be just nice cars and classics but it’s been infiltrated.

I guess it's a victim of its own success.

Worthwhile trying the various Brooklands events as the reserved car park will be more relevant for you. smile

I do as I’m a trust member at Brooklands, but enjoy the local
Classic car meets for their diversity.

As an aside there’s a nice one at the Blackbushe Cafe on the last Sunday of the month, classics and interesting cars only…. A couple of weeks ago I took the 66 Mustang, Dad took the 55 AM DB2, my mate Tom took his Gen 1 Vanquish. Lots of different interesting cars.

Plus the cafe there does a mean breakfast.

Off topic I know but I've been there a few times too. Parking is better than the field at the Black Swan!

Looks like I might actually have permission from Mrs UTH to take my neighbour’s son to this!
