I fear most of those clash with the TVR Surrey CC meets

Bugger.

I suppose the key question is who would impact (other than you Charlie)?

Is there any chance we could merge the 2 events into 1, for 1 meeting? maybe in the summer sometime?

We could easily drop one of our 'beer' nights.

Nicely done Sir Kinkalot and HRH Nigel and the rest of the committee.

As for the Bracknell/Ascot area, since i work around there and live not far away i already have some ideas, and i'm sure myself and Liz can spend a few weekends testing the local waters

Might even bump into Nigel on our travels... we'll just look for an abandoned BMW in the car park!

Im willing to help test a few places out as im local to bracknell and ascot

That's what i thought Emm - which is why I thought it odd he'd posted.

I know if I was away visiting our antipodean friends the last thing I'd be doing it posting on PH!

Good to see he's posting his pics though, so I'm not complaining!

Right, so the 1st SAS meeting will comprise of lots of beers (that's a given) and a 3-hour slide-show of WVMs holiday snaps hehe

Just seen this (never really look at Stickies paperbag) All I can say is Hell's Teeth every one's a Thursday!!! Pretty much the one day I will always struggle to do. Will try to organise something to make it to the Maidenhead one seeing as it is local but will be tricky to do many of these.
Appreciate of course that whatever is chosen it will always be bad for someone - your loss though cos I am great

Actually TC - we could run a poll to see which day is favoured by everyone.

Friday works for me, as there's no work on a Saturday and no need to drive anywhere, which means consumption of beer!

Please don't swap things around just on my behalf, my comments were meant tongue in cheek more than anything (although it is true that Thursday's pose problems).

Having said that if there is a consensus with a preference for alternative days then I am not going to argue. Like I said, whichever day you choose will always be awkward for some, Friday's I know are usually bad for Charlie because Saturday is traditionally his busy day at work. Wednesdays ironically are best for me because my wife doesn't work that day which means I don't have to wait for her to return before going out. Maybe a more of a random mix rather than keeping it the same day for each one - anyway sounding like a pain again now and am sure I will make some of them even if they stay all Thursdays.

Oh and Merry New Year everyone

Fridays are good, as you say Kinky that allows even more beer to be consumed hehe
