I'm certainly up for the idea of meeting in the general area, but the reviews on Beer in the evening don't exactly make the Monkey Puzzle sound good!

Ideal for me would be somewhere with a decent carpark and kiddy play facilities in the garden where I can dump the little ones, rather than leaving the wife lumbered with them and sulking!

Hm the SXOC group meet there once a month (ok that's not saying much ). It's been refurbished recently, too. We could do www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/63/6395/Marquis_of_Granby/Esher but equally, that has chavs in it in the evening.

Nuke them from space etc.

I'll be at Thruxton watching and photographing the BTCC, then at 4pm racing in the charity Kart race! Possibly another month though if you do it again.
