Rarebit Run - September '07
Discussion
Hey guys, just wanted to say what a great run even though I was in a slower car this time.
Some stats I got from my trip computer, from leaving my house sat morning to returning sun evening:
13.58 Hours
623 miles
average 51.5 mpg
I just hope the next run I won't have boat suspension. Will try to get my pics up this evening.

Hi Guys
thanks for the great weekend everyone and for John finding those roads !!!
I got caught up on the M4, but found a great road just of the east J of Swindon, going across to Hungerford. I knew it was going to be good as at the start it had one of those "watch-out bikers throwing themselfs off" signs.
I will be putting together a early Sunday morning hoon around North Berks - Oxford area taking in the great roads around Wantage / North Wessex Downs which will incude a good hearty Breakfast.
Sunday the 21st or 28th ?

lol - hope you dont still have the BMW branded shoe lace bonnet opener!
Yes, all fixed - and trust me the thought of going on some of those roads with a shoe lace type affair as part of the bonnet system is terrifying... I think we had enough 'near brown trouser' moments as it is.I think we all particularly enjoyed the fast approach, dropping off on a 90 degree bend to a bridge with brick posts...

Good work Ben.
I got abit of airtime and when it thudded back to earth I was expecting to see an airbag come flying towards me but clearly I wasn't hard anything.
Oh just to add, I had a browntrouser moment on Nigels behalf. I was following behind and he decided he was going to get some air before a sharp left turn and infront of him was a low concrete wall (Well there were two as there was abit on the other side of the road too). So he steered mid air and obviously nothing happened and then he landed and slid sideways between the two walls and then maintained that skid with the arse end out for another two corners!
Superb!!
