Just checked on tinterweb. Apparently W&W are no longer accepting telephone bookings due to the difficulty in guaranteeing that tickets will reach you in time via the post.

However you can still buy advance tickets at the cheaper rate at the tourist office in Guildford and the 'Alldays' shop in Shere. smile

I tried to get there, but when the queues on the A281 were well over a mile in each direction, and that before the queue off the 281, I gave up, went home and watched the French beat the Welsh instead. frown

That's a shame as it was a great day out. Noticeably better attended than last year as well. The glider display was quite incredible - you never would have believed that he didn't have an engine in there somewhere.
