HI all, this maybe too late im booked aswell.could anyone whos done it before please tell me what neccesaties i need to bring ie.paper part of licence,log book ??????? i will be in a blue M5, i live about 10 miles away and the weather forcast is not rain, thank god, im nervous as it is, see you all tommorow, cant wait!!!

Fingers crossed, there shouldn't be any accidents, but insurance is very much up to the indivudual.I did this event, my first track day, early last year. IIRC, overtaking is only allowed on the straights, overtaking on the left, and is supposed to be "by invitation only". The car being passed must invite you by indicating right.
I did one other track day, at Castle Combe, and some of these rules were not observed, but as this is a Novice only day, we should all be fine. Just remember it is not a race, and everyone is out there to enjoy themselves.
Paddock Bend/Hill is notoriously difficult, and it is easy to spin there if you get it wrong, but provided you keep clear of other cars, no harm should be done.

I won't be able to get along to this now, I've got to be at work till 7pm, then I'm going to pop up the Ace cafe with touching cloth for the FB5K evening and actually go in a Cerb for the first time!

Not sure where changing to semi slicks and trailered race cars come into a novice evening, but hey, kept her shiny side up, which was the main thing!!
Totally hooked now, so think this is going to get expensive!!
Great to see you again David, and great to meet Neil, Jamie, and Brett for the 1st time!
Great way to finish with a curry too!
