Let me know if you guys will be in the West Berks area. If so I'll try to meet up.
Come down to the meeting point Gary, its not too far from you smile
Tempting, only my satnav has given up the ghost. Will give it some thought. On the positive side Dave, car is fixed and having been tested to Hull and back inc. lengthy traffic jams performed perfectly!

Great news on the car Gary.
If you are free, i strongly reccomend this run - i went on the recce run and there are some superb roads. If you are worried about finding the start place, why not pop over to me and run over there with me and Angrys3owner, its only 10 minutes away.

Give me a call if you fancy it

I'm going to have to miss this, as I've got water flooding from the water tank in the loft and am under strict instructions not to bugger off until it's fixed lol and I haven't got the foggiest!! eek

I've managed to turn off the supply to the tank, but does anyone know a decent plumber nearby?

Well, hope the 4 of you enjoyed the run... I made it back home, but only just... I came off a junction early through stupidity, and a section of road back to Woking was closed off meaning I was 1) slightly lost and 2) almost out of fuel... But in the end it all worked out.

Ben, that moment on the M3 will stay with me for a while hehe nothing like making an entry wink

Pete what happened to you?

E2DJH shame to miss you, hope things improve...

Then there were three! - I got as far as Andover and discovered a rear punture when it started to go sideways on a roundabout. Fitted the space-saver (Thanks to no assistance from the AA) and limped home at 50 :-(
Now frantically searching for a supplier that who opens on Sunday - Think I've had it for today.

We only drive to what the conditions allow... which on the UK's roads tend to make for spirited driving well within the limits of most of our cars; sometimes not so sure about the drivers limits though! biggrin

Last man standing rule tends to help too - i.e. as long as you can see the PH'r behind then keep going! And we also use radio's to stay in touch if we get split up; however they tend to mostly be used for generalised abusing of your fellow PH'rs, random banter and pointing out any worthwhile 'scenery'... thumbup
