Prolly not, but not 100% sure yet - it could be as simple as a loosened bolt on a diff mount and a top of diff oil which won't take long at all, or could be a fecked diff which needs to come off and be sent away to be reconned...or anything in between. Will let you know, should have prognosis Monday/Tuesday.

Your are welcome to come with me Andy, but i know it is a bit cramped for a big lad! You'll need warm clothing too, as the roof wll be off biggrin
Either way, i'll come and pick you up if needed.

Is this the Golf we spoke about at the karting? I seem to remember it sounded like it was going to be a bit special. Whats the spec?

Will the route suit something a bit too long, a bit too wide, a bit too low and a bit too stiff for your average British B road, not to mention a rather large turning circle? Oh, and it would need to be dry!

Thanks,

Paul

Would that be the Mosler then? thumbup

I drove some of the route in my Chim yesterday. There was only one stretch of "bouncy" road that required a little concentration, but I didn't ground it at all, despite the weight in teh car wink and I was driving "enthusiastically".

I think you'll be just fine.

What they said, for some reason my shopping trolley isn't a huge fan of bumps and I don't remember any really bad bits from sunday, there was one bit where I would have thought dave's chim (it's a low one too) would have made sparks, but it didn't!

Please bring it, oh and PS, if my car gets worse before the weekend can I jump in for a passenger ride for part of the run? Pretty please with beer on top. beer

Weather permitting I'll be along. More than happy to let anyone daft enough to sit next to me sample my awful driving. The cabin is offset, so it's a tight squeeze on the passeger side if you're anything more than waif-like!
