So I've decided it's time to get a little healthier and stop being such a lazy git!

First step is healthy eating!

Anyone for a nutritious apple?

I think you mean two plums, which will probably be submerged into unknown depths by this time next week.

Spooky! I got up this morning and whilst sorting through a box in my study, found a picture of me from about 5 years ago... I was about 3 stone lighter, played football every week, went to the gym 3 times a week and went running most mornings before work! Smoked socially but not full time (maybe about 10 a week maximum).

Now... I get up and have a ciggy, eat breakfast and have a ciggy, surf interweb and have a ciggy, do some work if someone's paying me and have a ciggy, eat lunch and have a ciggy, mooch whilst smoking, errr and that's about it! I might have the odd cigarette too... furious

Nearest I get to exercise is the pedals in my car - and I have an automated clutch! hehe

Health kick started this morning as well! thumbup

Maybe you could break yourself in gently, and start with an apple pie?

Don't want to jump straight onto the hardcore fruit!!! biggrin

John, I play football a little bit, you should come and join us!! thumbup

Apples aside for a minute, I do need to start running more frequently as Cat and I are running a charity half marathon in January. I did one nearly two years ago now and it was great fun (even though I am definatly not built for long distance running).

Technically, cider is derived from the nutritious apple. I say just ensure you up the lunches at the pub and stick to the golden stuff.

The exercise can come later as walks home always seem to take longer (logic dictates you're therefore walking further....
