Well if you need a second opinion on the test drive Greg....wink

I have heard of a certain Tuscan pushing around 440bhp but I didn't think they had that sort of bhp from standard.

Anyway I shall stop guessing now! hehe

May have slightly misled - standard power for this type is 360BHP, this particular one was dyno'd at 440BHP after a recent new engine with race heads etc. another 100 - 250BHP is available when you turn the Nos on....!

I hope you have very deep pockets and a bicycle for your commute when its in the garage.

Bad enough engine reliability as standard, let alone with nitrous added.

With the factory gone i expect certain parts are potentially impossible to obtain. e.g. ribbon cables for the dials, front hubs etc etc - all the bits both my cerbs required often.

If you can afford to run that then you might as well go buy a decent early 996 carrera for £25k or 6L VXR MONARO FOR £20K.

Benno, he's got a very nice 993 already...

Greg, you can't use a cerb for short journies like that it will break within days, I love them - really do! But for a 2 mile commute I can't think of a worse car.

I agree.

For a commute I would not buy a car I loved, nor a temperamental car like a TVR (loved or unloved) because the oil is still not performing as it should be. Not to mention the cost of fuel for urban driving in a performance car.

I'd buy that lovely looking TVR and a cheap golf deisel for teh commute to work.

Oh I forgot the budget isn't £20k+ hehe

If your job is important I would think seriously about commuting in such a modified Cerbera, despite how lovely it is/ well intentioned the idea is wink

I realised that this was never going to be a commuting option. Having now seen and driven it, the performance and looks are stunning but the interior would need some work and the seats are totally impractical. Still looking !

If TVRs do it for you, this one looks rather nice wink
