On another note, when I was looking to chop in the LR Disco, the only people who even got near my expectation for a trade in value was a Land Rover dealer; everyone else viewed it as a tractor! Selling it privately would be the route for me when I get rid of it...
Those certainly are interesting motors John, not what i would have thought of. THe 4.0 W8 would be crazy with a manual box. And thanks for the tip on teh dealers. I now have it advertised for sale privately, but will try the dealers this afternoon.

I test drove one of the Passat W8's when I was looking for a work car. For Q car power, they're one of the best......
