Audi indy near Reading?

Hi all - mate of mine in Reading has inherited an Audi 80 2.6 V6 (L reg) saloon. However it needs new brake pads all round (possibly discs on the front) and a new headlight lens for the MOT.

Can anyone point me to a reasonable indy either in or near Reading? He got a quote from Audi, but it was !

He rolled his last car, but I'm sure this one will last a bit longer

I use a place called Seaspray in Iver, they are good blokes and very reasonable on costs.

There's also Fontain in Iver, however I'm not sure you really need a specalist for brakes. Hell I'd do them for him if I wasn't so busy.

I'm doing a booze run to Calais shortly... would a crate or two of beer sway you?

I would normally bite your arm off, I'm just too bloody busy and don't see that improving this year.

Already sorted - my Dad and I go every November. Thanks for the offer though!

Could try the VW place round the back of Caversham? They could probably get the bits at the least. Otherwise I'll have a chat with some of the chaps re: main dealer price...

I'm assuming I'm right on who actually owns the car!

Oh yes: V6 Audi 80...

I was gutted when they insured him!

Mind you, they did a 150bhp version and a 174bhp version so neither are that quick unless he has a real talent for rolling cars!
