Can anyone tell me what the roadwork that is policed by SPECS between J2-J3 Southbound on the M3 are actually all about, I see no road works going on ever, and they have been there for literally monthS!

I can't really avoid them living just off J3

There was a flurry of activity in the first few days, but as you say, nothing for months. It's a real pain. I've checked out the Highways website and there's nothing on there really except they are just changing the road layout to "reduce congestion on the M25 at J12"...bloody causing it if you ask me.
