Any of you guys fance a run to the TG Track and then doing some times as per the PH driving challenge?

If we can get on there as a group?

a gauging interest thread at present....

Obviously there is likely to be a cost however if theres a group of us might not be too bad...?
and im thinking when the weathers a bit better?????

Dave

Do they run track days at the track, or are you in contact with someone that could organise such an event?

They don't do traditional track days there because (amongst other reasons) the track's a figure of 8.

Plans Motorsport are the people to speak to about access to the track.

ETA I'd definitely be interested if something was organised.

'Plans' service my car and I was planning on doing this next time it's booked in so I'll probably be there.
Here's the details by the way http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

Assuming I manage to get my car sorted out I'd be very interesting in doing this!

Think I'd like to have a go at this too, who will supply the reasonably priced car though?

Would this be everyone in their own cars, or everyone in the same car to make it fair?

At work we have 2 Suzuki Lianna's with roll cages and bucket seats, guess who I work for,

I may ask to get them for the weekend, however I fear the answer will be "NO!"

7 blown tyres, 1 clutch, 2 sets of brakes, (numerous parts for a Race Shuttle inc new brakes)
This is without a stop watch, croud and timings, hmmmm

I have recieved the following mail from them, importantly they are likely to be able to do something,

I was looking to do this in late spring early summer 08 to try and get some better weather?

What sort of facilities are we looking for?
Coaching, Timing, DVD etc, or can we do our own?

Let me know your thoughts and ill go back with some idea's

This is likely to involve a deposit in advance and potentialy pre payment.
