Just wanted to saya big thank you for Vixpy for his efforts this morning to start the Rover. Had I have told him it was a Diesel in the first place it might have saved him a trip (I'm no mechanic - I havent aclue about these things).

Anyway we bought a new battery and fitted it tonight, so all is well again...

Yeah absolutley, but, I find it very hard to diagnose and resolve, I know about as much about car engines as you will know about Section 18 Sub Paragaraph 1 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984... (awaits someone to google it and quote blah blah blah )

Anyway... we are only half there, boot needs sorting as does rear lights now... But at least she has wheels and doesnt have to use mine
