Looks like it'll be another commiseration drink I've just had some rather annoying news about my car. boocks.
Sounds like a crappy end to the week... This should cheer you up: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/336126.htm (and it's near you!)

Nathan, why are you having fun trying on ladies undergarments? Are you still thinking of going to the pub David? If so, what time?
Nothing too Serious, just that the garage have confirmed that it is infact the worse case for the steering and they think it's the clutch and flywheel that's causing the transmission shunt. Interesting fact for everyone, S3 steering racks have got even more expensive they're now £626 - not sure if that's plus vat or not

I do keep wondering how much one of them would cost to keep on the road.AngryS3Owner said:

Ben, there's a company in West Midlands that repairs steering racks at a fraction of the cost of a new one. I've not used them myself but a fella on the Noble forum had one done for his lotus and he was well impressed.Nothing too Serious, just that the garage have confirmed that it is infact the worse case for the steering and they think it's the clutch and flywheel that's causing the transmission shunt.
