I have to renew my insurance soon as even if the car ends up being sold I want to use it in the mean time.

Well called hagerty, and for fully comp 5000 miles limited mileage, £428 per year! Very happy considering im 26. They dont use your NCB either just that you have to have another car as a daily driver. Well think its worth checking out if anyone else has a specialist car.

Er, isn't it obvious? Alex's car has about twice the power of mine is worth a lot more (is 2-3 insurance groups higher) and he's paying a pound less for insurance, I'd say that's pretty good going.

Everyone knows that slightly gay yellow cars carry a higher premium.

yes I was very impressed with the quote, its almost worth buying a shit heap ebay special to run around in and insure for what you save from the TVR. Well the Astra is costing about £150 less to insure than the TVR, madness!

Well worth checking their web site and getting a quote if you have something that fits their criteria.

It is a bit. Due to my particular model being crashed a fair bit, couple of mods, only 1 year NCB, and I'm paying in monthly installments rather than lump sum. Guess its the price I pay for being young on my first policy. Hoping I'll get a better deal when I turn 25 this year.

Mine is 17/18 depending on what day of the week it is. Nathan's is 20 (pretty obvious if you think about it). No idea on scoobies.
