I'll be easy to spot, from behind at least, as I've just finished applying a large PH vinyl smiley to my spare wheel cover.
Damn, now I'll have to come up with something else original biggrin

There's loads of pubs locally. The best bet is the Queens College Arms, about 5 miles away from the site, on the A340 towards basingstoke. Big place with cheapish food and loads of tables.

See you early then Jonny, I'll try and get up there for 9ish to meet you.

I'll aim for 9 too. Picked up the Disco this morning and loaded it up with recovery gear - you never know eh? biggrin

Don't forget to bring some water for washing down.

We'll be leaving Guildford around 8:15, so should also be there between 9 and 9:15.

See you in the morning! biggrin

Hey guys,

Great to meet you all today. We went around a few more times and then bailed. I reckon if I'd stayed around much longer I would have broken something biggrin

Took the Disco to a jetwash on the way home so it's not looking *too* bad now, but there's a lot of mud in the engine bay which I'll need to clean out next weekend.

Will get some pics up from today when Rich has uploaded them and we'll sort out a Salisbury Plain trip soon. If you want to know what that looks like, check the Salisbury Plain section on my website (see profile. Got a few pics there. Nice scenary and great fun.

Cheers,
James

Had a fantastic day chaps, definately the most fun I've had with four wheels for ages, and will most certainly be doing this again.
Can't wait to see photos.

P.S. Chris, Heather sends thanks again for towing her out of trouble! biggrin

Well, I wasn't going to say anything, of course, but as you've so kindly dumped her in it, here's one stuck Heather!

The next one there is on 13th April, but not sure if I can make that one. But I'd been keen to see if there are a few others around the area.

I think we need to do a Salisbury Plain run at some point though. A lot easier than a pay and play day, but still pretty good fun with decent scenery on a clear day. Plus there are a load of lanes between the Plain, Devizes and Marlborough.

Might have to be May for me though by the time I get round to it. Doesn't stop anyone else planning a run in the mean time though!
