Great morning out, really good route, thanks Nathan. Just finished cleaning the car for the second time this weekend. Now going out to get the bike dirty before it gets dark. biggrin

Great run, cheers Nathan. Apols to those I dragged through Farnham (no, I know it wasn't on the route) - however despite me going slower and slower none of you bastards would overtake me on the A31 so it's your own faults really wink Whittled down to me and the Leon in the end and then I lost him as well as saw the chance of some petrol and took it.

Got there in the end by hook or by crook, top brekkie too thumbup

What a great morning!

Many thanks for organising Nathan thumbup

Thanks also to co-pilot/navmaster Simon! Hope my car/driving didn't scare you too much!!

AND I even have an excuse for turning up late this time, after following Mr Cloth up the A31 to Farnham, then getting snarled up in the one-way system wink

One day I will arrive on time / go the same way as all the rest of you!! biggrin

Neighbours have confirmed I am mad, after watching me clean the car twice in 24 hrs nuts

Breaking News just in.........

New car craze stretches across UK, Washing cars repeatedly one day after another, a passerby said it was
"all to do with that Hoon culture, soon they all have ASBo's and Hoons what ever they are.... They all mad i tell you!!!!!"
and that

"the Youth of today tut tut and some of them are old enough to know better"

Amazing back to the studio, we'll come back later with more on this Hoon culture later

No probs at all.

By the way, did anyone get a photo of my car (Silver Mk1 996 GT3) that shows how dirty it got? I do an occasional write up for Total911 & would like a shot to go with one of my future reports. Thanks in advance if you can help.

Nice meet again - thanks for arranging a great morning again Nathan, but in future when introducing me to someone, I drive the 350z and not the X5 - how could you forget after all the discussions we had about Nissan Micras' and the Micra club?! :-)

Great to meet everyone as well - a really enjoyable way to spend Sunday morning!

Yet another cracker! Well done guys thumbup

I've been asleep most of the afternoon as I was so knackered laugh

Best moments: the fog, Rob forgetting to shut his bonnet properly loser, trying to shake that bloody X5 filling my mirrors (only partially successfull!)

Rather a good route that I thought. Worth a re-run later in the year for sure.

Sorry - no, but whilst we are on the subject, the Renault needed it's ar*e wiped as it's brake lights were covered in muck - I only knew when it was braking when the patter of stones on me bonnet increased significantly to a deluge! :-)

Superbe route, greta mix of cars. Glad that one is now in the tom tom for a rerun driving in dry conditions. Good breakfast too, top choice Nathan smile

Looking forward to the next run out. yes and getting someone else to wash the car is a good idea too.

XLlifts will give you a call when i'm down portsmouth way and will have to have a little run out.

Noticed we passed the ministry of paintball place while doing nigels token X5 part of the route off road! Anyone been there, I fancy a shoot one weekend.

My heart did stop when I saw the rear of your car about 12'' off the road only because I knew it would me my turn just after!!

It feels like I spent yesterday lifting weights, my arms are killing me....but it goes to show that a tank can be hustled along biggrin
