Seen on a slightly chaotic (due to M23 closure and problems near Sevenoaks) M25 today:

A white van with no less than 3 unmarked cars on the hard shoulder around 10:30 near the A3 junction (all BMWs I think, including DY64 FSZ from what I remember). There must be a story there...

A bit later, CK65 ***, a grey BMW Touring who'd pulled someone over near the A3.

I saw more police cars, marked and unmarked, today than I usually do in a month!

Spotted the old unmarked "Silver Vectra V6 Turbo" today on the M4 near maidenhead. Pulled over a blacked out Range Rover. About 3.30pm.

Surprised TVP are still using such an old car. Must have mega miles on it by now, Guess the really like it.

Also earlier on the Hammersmith Flyover a white unmarked and very dirty VW VAN came steaming by at a very high speed. The driver was cutting through traffic like a pro, given him that.

Plenty of those around, a few with GB stickers on the rear bumper to disguise the holes for the ANPR camera.

Unmarked white V70 on the A34 (Botley Junction) last night. Had very discreet lights on the roof, and a "this vehicle is recording" type sticker.

I thought it might have been a walt, but stays behind him anyway.

One incident happened on the A3 when a van driver was seen to be driving whilst distracted and not in proper control of his vehicle on the southbound carriageway at Guildford."

I think I must have been behind that van a few times if the driving standards I've witnessed are anything to go by.

Tonight on the M3, accident between 2 and 3 southbound. Never ceases to amaze me how vehicles that are all travelling pretty much the same speed in the average speed section manage to pile into each other. Sat not moving for over an hour. Spotted unmarked BMW3 - DY64 FSZ. Image from my dashcam so a little blurry

Hope the people in the accident are ok, looked to be quite a bad 3 car pile up
