Blue Focus ST on the M23 near Crawley. Saw a BMW fly past followed by the Focus, they both pulled off and stopped at a roundabout on the sliproad, arm comes out of the ST and does a lot of finger pointing then roars off. Tiny little blue and red LEDs hidden away in the rear windscreen.
I hate Skodas and newish Mitzy evos and Subarus; I drive motorway alot and every car has to be identified and checked.....and at ..71ishmph it can be damn hard work on a long run, checking cars, bridges, junctions, anything florescant, checking anything attempting to keep up and dodging those who dont check their mirrors.Night is even worse, I cant see a thing at night.
Had a close one on the M23 last year, with a silver evo9 ,or whatever they are up to now;Lost them big time through the s's southbound The lady driver was in a bit of a tither when they finally caught up with me a mile from Brighton.
I had realised about a mile or two earlier that they were fuzz and slowed to 75 in the middle lane ,well before they got close.
I denied it all , she read me her notice of intended and........never heard a thing.Camera probably didnt work or ? I was arranging a chauffeur for 2 months
Could have been a big ban!

It depends on the copper,
But as a rule i have been told that =< 85mpg on motorway, they wont bother you, unless you are travelling in middle lane for miles etc or driving irratically.

does anyone know what sort of speed the bib take as speed for 'engagement' assuming you arnt doing anything silly? I heard from a reliable source a few years back that 85 on m'ways in hants was the starting point, anything below that and you were ok
