Is there a bit of a focus on the A23 now that the roadworks at Bolney have gone? I've seen 3 unmarked cars on that stretch in the last 2 days (silver/grey A4 estate, dark A4 saloon and dark Golf).

14 plate golf attending a breakdown ion Friday looked like a "R" version. There was also a marked car who didn't fancy the road works and was reversing up the hard shoulder to come of at gatwick.

Unmarked white 3 series saloon attending a broken down lorry on the A23 / A27 junction recently, don't think we've had that one, yet?

Apparently Bagshot is full of marked and unmarked today.

My mother has just text me to ask if i would know why there are some very senior BiB she knows from court appearances (she's a JP not a criminal, well nothing more than petty theft, vandalism, light stealing and a bit of speeding this year) driving round the village repeatedly with a few other marked cars and a couple more unmarked.

Any info for us nosey people?

Senior? Court appearance's?
It's probably just regular patrols as part of the latest campaign

hehe I can't say I've ever seen a VW police car apart from that one - and a GTI. Not your typical car. Makes you think they are just about everywhere now days.

Other than the fact it's not a police car.

Its amazing how anything with blue lights is presumed to be police.

I saw what can only be described as a Kermit Green Octavia the other day. It seemed to shift a bit as well so i'm assuming a VRS.

Joining the M4 at Theale tonight, saw two unmarked vehicles in quick succession, assume Police rather than one of the other services. Silver 07 Plate Lexus, followed by a big 06 plate Peugot saloon (607?) both on blues.

There are all sorts of cars in police use. Anything can be a police car. It doesn't mean everything is a police car though.

There are, but usually something like that is reserved for specialist units and it would more than likely be an R not a Gti. If not it would be a diesel Golf.
