Not quite sure what but some sort of soft roader in Bracknell yesterday evening, looked like a Lexus RX/Hyundai Santa-Fe/Mitsubishi Outlander - could not quite tell as the flashing LED's on the rear of it were so bright I could not quite see past them!
If it was black more than likely the same Mitsubishi Outlander parked up under the Suttons Roundabout in East Reading a couple of weeks ago.
Thoughts were either Armed Response or Anti-Terrorist given the recent arrest in Radstock Road or am I putting 2&2 together and coming up with 5? Certainly didn't seem interested in traffic.
.
Mitsubishi Outlander (range of colours) = TVP dog van yes

Is there something on just now? as the M23 and M25 seems to have a few cars sat at various points last few days M23 had 3 on it last night. It also did make me sniggle like a child when the 5 series with the reg ending FUD was being driven by a balding gent with the sun shining brightly on his head smile

Skoda estate KU12 BKF on the M3 (J1) around a hour ago (heading towards the M25)
They seemed to think I was on the phone, until they came along side me and said sorry!
Anyone on here?

Yesterday around 11 AM, M3 Junction 7, an unmarked silver Ford Mondeo estate, not sure if it was assistance, or a chat without pleasantries.

Dark metallic grey Volvo V40, 14 plate and had a second wing mirror above passenger side one, almost got me heading back in to London on the A3 yesterday morning. Just after the golfing centre he trailed me for a while than pulled along side and his passenger mouthed at me to slow down.

Black Hyundai EU14 DHC with blues on tonight on the hogs back with 2 uniformed officers in it. Having a hard time getting past the traffic, partially due to poor observation by other drivers but also as the siren on it was pants! The car wasnt much better either, times must be hard....

Cost cutting.... the waterproof outdoor sirens are too expensive, so they mount the non waterproof ones.... inside the car....

No, they roll the window down and make Pee paaaa, Peee paaa, Wooo wooooo noises out the window. It is environmentally friendly, cheap and improves community engagement by the officers. Armed response unit are provided with a whistle, for extra impact.

A win - Win directive from the home office & Ms. T May. biggrin

lol it kind of defeats the object of having a siren if no one else can hear it apart from the occupants of the police car itself! frown

Battleship grey Audi A3/S3 in Guildford?

Saw it with several marked cars and an Ambulance by London road train station (York Road/London Road corner) last week.

My comment was a bit tongue in cheek wink
Every car is kitted out differently and some of them, the siren may as well be in the car, as it's louder inside than out.
However, they do use internal lights for the outside.... Queue lots of blown LEDs!

Last week on the Westway, just west of northern roundabout on w/bound carriageway.

5 meat wagons with blues and twos making their way through traffic, followed by what I am fairly certain was an unmarked E63 Estate with blue lights ablaze! It was debadged but had the quad AMG exhaust pipes. Is that even possible? Couldn't hear exhaust note due to sirens.

Tell me I'm either wrong or dreaming.
