Spotted tonight at the Farnborough gate turn off on the A331. A recovery truck was taking a car away at a very odd angle to the carriageway so not sure what had happened. Sliver BMW 3 series estate KX12 YDN

SV64 BJJ spotted tonight. Goodness knows what happened on the M3 but it ground to a standstill just before J4a northbound. Sat there not moving for about 40 mins. During that time was passed by 3 police cars (inc unmarked one), 2 ambulances and 3 ambulance cars I think.
Plus on the bridge there were another 2 marked cars with lights on parked up. Maybe the officers had then clambered down onto the motorway/slip leaving their cars there not sure. Hope everyone was ok.

Couldn't believe that people were driving through the cones from lane 2, across the empty lane where the roadworks were and then through the other set of cones to get onto lane 3, very dangerous. Hopefully they may be on camera and get prosecuted.

14 plate Audi A4/A6 dark blue/black - just up from the station in Guildford - going the other way so couldn't get a full plate

I know you guys do but that is the first car I've seen from TVP without the OU registration prefix, unmarked, marked, vans, dogs, forensics you name it, all OU from my experience. Don't go telling them to change it now !!
Hate to break it to you, but there are OU cars in Beds & Herts, both marked and unmarked. I should know, as I got stopped by an unmarked Volvo S80 a couple of months ago as my brake lights decided to go haywire while he was following mefrown

There are some Surrey traffic on this thread aren't there?

Maybe one of them can answer a pondering, why do Surrey cop cars have 30 on the roof?

Cheers

That's the odd thing hence my question, most forces I see use the force number, however Surrey's is 45 and not 36

They do indeed have the dot and 36 and then three letters.

No idea why it's 36 (they are not loan cars), but it's probably the same logic that there are 43 forces in England and Wales and Surrey's force number is 45?

I'll see if I can find out why 36.

Another one for the serving guys.

There was very happy looking copper this morning doing traffic duty( SLK was blocking L1) on the M25 at j6 he was in a new Skoda Octavia but not with the usual battenburg its was a mixture of black, blue and silver is this a new directive as it looked great?

And any idea what was going on M23 10-11-2015 with 6 cars and a full rolling block?

They have been doing some Tpac training last few weeks which is great to watch for us mere mortals.

The Skoda is a demonstrator vehicle from Skoda, it's being used for the "Safe drive stay alive" campaign.

The rolling block may have been the TPAC training that's running. We did ask for their help around 5pm after a car jacking and robbery down on the A23

Thanks furry, The Skoda looked great really stood out.

It would have been about 5ish there was a unmarked on the hard shoulder then further back 2 doing a rolling road block then another 2-3 weaving there way through.

The TPAC was great to watch and in a good way it was good to see the training happening on a busy motorway. smile
