There was a 57 plate black 520 with a small blue light around Oxford last night, barely going faster than traffic (thought I was going to get pulled!). Would it have been police? Or just some emergency response?

Older silver mk2 focus A31 hogs back with blues on. Seemed to be integrated into the light cluster. Will make spotting that one a bit difficult

Unmarked BMW LS17 MXJ along the M25 near Heathrow this afternoon attending the standard accident - rear end shunt. They must get so bored dealing with this stuff all the time

Five door Focus STs seem to be fairly popular.

Haha yes very bored! Most of the time, it's completely avoidable, if drivers actually pay attention to their driving

On my daily M3, M25, M1 commute I see so many rear end shunts it is crazy and as you say nearly always avoidable

What would be in the trailer that warrants that level of escort?

Not sure, it's not a bullion truck, don't think is nukes, it doesn't look strong enough.

Could be something as boring as a comand centre type of thing.

7, maybe more unmarked dark grey vehicles going very quickly on the A33 to Basingstoke this evening, all had blacked out windows, multiple hidden blue lights, multiple makes, VW, Volvo, Kia , BMW Mini, Nissan pick-up, VW van + un ID'd others,
Police ? or ? , odd assortment of vehicles & why so many ?

Saw that once before on the M3. Fairly unsafe speeds in the narrow lanes of contra flow. If somebody doing 50 had wandered a couple of inches they'd have been hit by one of the unmarked cars maybe doing twice that speed. Some have really useless blue lights so very easy to miss approaching behind at speed. Must have been important for so many cars to take the risk.

A black bmw 330d in Woking, very nice owner dealing with what looked like a hit and hide.

15 reg saloon.

Automatic ANPR camera, too bloody right. I pay my insurance and taxes. So the only thing missing is the actual punishment once caught! Nit usually the police's jurisdiction.
