ST170 didnt come in estate form. If it was a Mondeo it was the ST220 and yes they have one.

I saw a unmarked dark grey ST170 with lights going on the M3 yesterday northbound. Think it was a hatch rather than estate.

As this has popped up again it reminded me of a spot recently - grey BMW 3 Touring travelling with Blues towards Bagshot through the level crossing in Sunningdale.

It was during the Olympics so not sure if it was a 'visitor' from the college.

The silver-grey A4 (59 plate) is still on the A23 from time to time.

Yep, that's it. A bit surprised at how old it is.

why would collision investigation use an unmarked car out of interest?

They are on call and take them home during that period, much better than a marked traffic car on your drive.

The puppy dog police seem to take theirs home - I bet their roads never get burgled!

Like the dog section. Can't believe they get "given" a marked car, nothing of the sort happens this side.

I'd be more worried about house / car / family being targetted.
