A totally whacky off the wall thought, but you could always drink less...? silly
yikes It's not actually related to drink, I just doubt I'll be arsed turning my laptop on either when I get in later or when I get up...

It wasn't right when I picked it up from Audi, but one of those things you can't put your finger on - funny underlying noise when on boost... One of those things that because you know every noise a car makes, when it does a new noise it sets you on edge no matter how quiet it is!

Just got progressively worse this morning when on boost - I think it's a wastegate valve, but will wait and see on Monday. Car also went into safe mode for a few minutes which supports my theory thats it's boost related somewhere... Off-boost it runs perfectly, but it's a bit boring driving around keeping below 3k revs! hehe

Will meet you all on route, the A272/A32 junction. Not sure what car, cannot be arsed in the Tuscan, so may just bring the dirty Clio.

Shame about the RS6 John, more warranty work eh frown

John you started blowing black smoke just after we left westferry, as we went on it was getting worse. I was going to speak to you when we stopped but the BIB moved us on, then we all split up. Hope it gets fixed soon matey.
