Drinks in Chipstead - April 9th

I am Wallington, so public transport looks like bus to Purley/ train to Chipstead or bus to East Croydon and then train. Does not look too bad to be honest, thought it would be worse and it gives the drinking arm a chance of some exercise.

I truly hate the thought of you having to get on a bus!

If you smile very sweetly at CR0X, I'm sure he wouldn't mind if we go via Epsom station, as this only adds a couple of minutes to our journey, and it's a 17 minute direct train ride for you from Wallington?

Tim is picking me up from home, then we're picking James P up at Epsom train station at 7:50 to save him the ignominy of having to get on a :shudder: bus before then heading to the Ramblers, yes.

ended up going for a blat last night as had nothing to do.

would have liked to come and meet some of you guys as the ramblers is a local haught for me and my friends

Was a good evening even though there were only 4/5 of us - hi guys and good to meet you. Good selection of ales and pizza was good and reasonable price.

More to be arranged in the area, hopefully including places where driving is optional.

Yep, a good night was had, one of the bar staff came over to tell us it was last orders!! The evening went by in a flash It was also good to put faces to PH names

Would definately be up for another evening in the future
