Thank you to Steve for letting me have a quick blat in his new golf. That gearbox is really something else! I hadn't driven a DSG before and thought it would be like a faster auto/tiptronic but even after only a quick run i am blown away.

Can't wait for the remap (and the scooby) to arrive

Glad you like the DSG too, felt a bit strange going for 'auto' but so far I can't see any downside, as you said the changes are really nice, zero loss of momentum and super smooth etc.

Apologies Norm, it's worth checking the thread as it's got pushed forward a few times before, we've always managed to give several hours notice. See you next week hopefully - would be good to get an update on your gearbox enterprise

I've been here there and everywhere today, planed it to end at Bagshot
