Does anyone know which oil filter to fit to the phase 1 / 2 Zetec Engine. Looked at the clearance between the Steering coupling. Need to find one about 55mm.
I've researched the Fram book and could only see a 1980 - 85 Renault 5 GT turbo that uses the 3/4 16" UNF thread, unlike the post 85 models that use metric M20 1.5 Thread.

Been phoning around but can't see to locate one. Don't really want to have to fit a remote oil filter or alter engine mountings, gearbox/engine position for further clearance.

Anyone know if there's an alternative filter to fit with the clearance i need ?
