News to me Podie - I would like to know more ?
He was anti-semetic. Google "The Dearborn Independent" and "the grand cross of the German Eagle" - plenty of stuff on it.

Interesting, and complex man.

Thank you for your speedy reply Podie - but I was commenting on the WW2 contribution of FORD MOTOR COMPANY - must have left MOTOR COMPANY off somewhere - sorry about that.

Thank you Carnage - another Airborne comrade - all special boys. Yes - Ginetta will always be loved by many of us, and I wish you well with yours.
Thank you Bob - if you would ever like to come watch the G18 race, I'd love you to come as my guest.

I would love to accept your invitation carnage - but I am afraid Silverstone is outside my ' travelling ' zone now. I am sure you will enjoy racing your G 18 single seater.

I must say Ivor loved designing those cars - in fact Ivor and Trevers were an amazing team. A director's meeting was just an interference to them. One didnt have to wait long before they said ' can we go now '. But to design and build over thirty different models, in as many years - single seaters - sports racing cars, even type approved, crash tested, factory built tax paid cars, was a lasting tribute to them. I cannot think of anyone in our motor industry, large or small, that can equal that record. Wish you well in your race with the G 18.

Just picked up Octane Mag and there was a nice Ginetta teaser mentioning a new Dare car coming out in the next few months--and it looks like Octane has seen it.

Any spies at the factory that could tease us with information? How about a Pistonheads visit to the factory?

Hello Mr. Bob, it's nice to read some messages from you. I've read your book last year and I really enjoyed it: so amazing that it took me no more than a couple of evenings to finish; I had the privilege to meet Ivor, Tom and Mark a couple of times; they are still an amazing team on technical side, I'm sorry they lack your abilities in the project management side. But this was the magic in (the good old) Ginetta Cars, few people, each skilled in a specific branch...

I enjoy it very much, as I did my G4. As you say, very impressive work rate!
