I now have in my garage a G 15 (chassis no: 0594). It had been stored for approx 20 years, and had been partialy stripped but came with loads of spares - including a brand new Imp block (never been built up), Weber carb, crank, cam etc). Are there any major pit falls to look out for? Does anyone know who could build up the bare block in the Midlands? Any info gratefully recieved.

your best bet is to ask on www.theimpclub.co.uk/ as there are so many companies building engines out there, im planning on getting a G15 in the next year or so (when my insurance goes down) good luck!

If you are not already aware of Cottage Classics you may want to investigate if they can help.

I have just started a G15 restoration too and most help can be gain from the Ginetta Owners club. If you want see a lot of finished cars go to Stonleigh April 30th or 1 May as the kit car show is on.
Feel free to contact me for info.
I can be found on the GOC web page as the Yorkshire Club Co-ordintor.
