Does anyone one which pads fit G40R front and rear calipers?
The original OEM parts are great on the track, which I did just once.
I'm looking for something more road-friendly.
I'm sure the caliper are the Ginetta-badged versions of some manutacturer (AP Racing? Wilwood?).

Same way I found out which pads were in my G20R... from the Ginetta Challenge regs for the G40 www.ginetta.com/pdfs/ChallengeRegulations.pdf albeit from 2011 so may be out of date:

5.12 BRAKES

5.12.1 The standard braking system as supplied by Ginetta Cars Ltd must be retained thus:

Front and rear discs: 280mm o/dia
Part Number: G40I0002

With:

Front Calipers: Alloy 4 pot calipers
Part Number: G40I0003 (left-hand) and – G40I0004 (right-hand)

Rear Calipers: Alloy 2 pot callipers
Part Number: G40I0005 (left-hand) and – G40I0006 (right-hand)

Discs and Calipers must remain as supplied by Ginetta Cars. There are NO permitted modifications.

5.12.2 Brake master cylinders, as supplied by Ginetta Cars, with 0.7 inch bore size front and rear, must be
retained as standard.

5.12.3 The use of the following Brake Pads and friction material is mandatory:

Front: Performance Friction 7705.01.14.54
Rear: Performance Friction 7705.01.14.54

I think G40R calipers definitely come from Hi-Spec.
As soon as I find the pads codes I will post them here for others owners.

After an idle lunchtime digging around it looks like PFC 7705 refers to the pad shape as per http://www.pfc.parts/product/7705/ Are your current pads of these dimensions? Same front and rear according to the part numbers.

The 01 refers to pad compound.

14 is thickness in mm

54 - not sure

Then go hunt on a pad finder website somewhere if they're the right size.
