Shame about those arches, the modified front, bonded in headlamp pods, horrible bonnet catches, but probably worth the money

And what a weird place to put the battery!

Yeah, the battery really needs to be up front. There's next to no weight ahead of the cabin on a G15, other than the fuel tank, and that's behind the axle. My battery was stuffed right into the NSF wing, just behind the headlight. Changing, and even charging it wasn't fun though...

This one appears to have early rear side windows, and a late front end. It's not a looker, that's for sure.

Looks like it has no air filters - just trumpets. In my day on an Imp engine that was known as an instant rebore kit.

Hi there, this car is coming to Madrid for Historic racing. It will get a full rebuild so will take care of the arches and other stuff. Car seems a good starting point for something special.

I´m coming back to G15s after 12 years, in which time Cottage Classics has disappeared....

So where are the g15 body moulds now? Also what has happened to GOC? Has factory started a rival club?

Many thanks

Thanks- I did write to GOC direct 2 weeks ago.

Have heard ZIP since. Seriously unimpressed by that. I used to be a committee member of GOC and seems that the last 10 years cannot have improved the situation.

See other threads on this site.

A similar enquiry to Ginetta Cars ditto- Poor lambs obviously too cool to engage with the past.

So, please, can anyone actually help me? For all the bad-mouthing of Spadge Hopkins (See threads etc), he was always good to me, responded quickly and competently. It would seem that G15 aftercare has disappeared with him.

Join the GOC forum. It's not the livliest, but you'll get responses on there.

Thanks for the forum advice. To be fair, I have now had a very helpful response from the GOC, seems that the moulds are stored at Ginetta Cars and the club hopes to be able to get them back into use. As my son is in UK, think he´ll be the one to renew GOC membership.

The little G15 racer should arrive in Madrid tomorrow evening. I think it´s going to be a great adventure, nice for me to remake acquaintance with a G15. One of few cars I regretted selling!
