Apparently there are two Ginettas (should that be Ginettae?)on the Knockhill entry, one a G32 driven by Peter Keen, the other a G27 driven by Ken Sugden - anyone now anything abou these two cars?

yes i do, I would have been there in mine but due to a pending house move I sold it!!
I'll be in my road car a 106 rallye though in the road going r1 upto 1400cc class come and say hello.
Peter has only just got his g32 this year but seems to enjoying it.. there a video of him spinning it here clicky at Teesside in April.
Ken's was a G27R with a 1.8 zetec until he tried to take it for a swim and it now has 2lt zetec in it..

how did you get the entry list?

I am associated with one of the invited championships, and was asked to verify name spellings etc. prior to publication. I think things are still slightly flexible, and many of the initial reserves are now on the entry.

Be patient - Wigton will publish a final entry list at the appropriate time.

It is good to see someone new competing with a G32, a very much under-rated car and one that is remarkably cheap at the moment. When you consider that the example that won the Best Original Car at the GOC national meeting a couple of years ago is for sale at £2750 (and its not mine, and I don't get commission!)

One piece of advice - houses can always be replaced, but good Ginettas.... you need a change in priorities! (only joking - I am sure you will replace it eventually).

Hi, I'm Ken Sugden, seems I might have got my entry for Knockhill in in time then. The 27 is a 96 Ginetta cup factory built model campaigned for several seasons (I believe) by Richard Hollebon with some success. It was originally black but came to me in yellow and looking pretty tatty about 2 1/2 years ago.
It had obviously had a hard racing life with evidence of several hard shunts but went well with all the mechanicals in decent order. My Intention was always to sprint it but family commitments and broken engine etc have put it off till now. Got a few track days and Kames WMC event in last year.
Car looking better now in new red livery and standard 2lt mondeo lump seems ok since fitted (would like a bigger carbs or throttle bodies but all in good time)and I'm looking forward to getting as many of the WMC speed champs rounds in as poss with maybe the odd Ginetta O C event.
Appreciate any advice for Knockhill as my first time on a 'big' track and will admit to a certain amount of trepidation.

Hi - I will try to get along to Knockhill. I have driven it a few times over the years, so can probably help with some advice on the day.
