Coming from Covingham/Wanborough past the Sheperd's Rest mid afternoon yesterday.
Got to the crossroads and turned right to Liddington hill.

Sounded amazing as it pulled away, and it's the first one I've ever seen on the road! Made my day, so thanks to whoever you are.

bet it was mine.
i sold to a guy in that area a year or so ago.
it was chassis number 74, and in good nick. i was sorry to see it go but the wife wanted something a little more practical for her. i.e a red corvette.

Was in fine trim indeed!

We were all guessing as to what it was coming up the hill; I originally guess at a Lotus Elan+2. It got closer and I realised I was very wrong, then I saw the Ginetta badge and realised it was a G15.

Still a G15 -> Red 'vette and looks like you have an Ultima from your profile, so I wou;dn't be too miffed if I was you

yep, your right a vette and a ultima, not to good for the ozone layer but you cannot chuck either around a country lane like the G15, you dont need to go fast to feel like you are. this one had been off the road since the early eighties in northern ireland and was restored from a rolling chassis by cottage classics when he first went into business. he did a good job and frankly did not make a penny.
it was very sound, the guy how brought from me i think did not like it as i did see it advertized several months after so either he keep it or sold to some one local in swindon.be nice to hear more from the owner maybe a piston head member ??
