GT Juniors at Croft

Anyone else going to Croft on Sat/Sun 9th/10th Sep for the GT Juniors?

Looks to be a good meeting, part of the Dunlop Great & British series. I'll be there both days as its just down the road for me (well almost).

Great weekends racing.

Race 1: After Jordan Williams failed to make the most of pole position he eventually regained the lead from Henry Surtees and James Harrison and held it right up to the final corner. At Crofts notorious hairpin Williams and Surtees came into contact allowing Championship leader Harrison to take the chequered flag. Williams failed to finish but Surtees crossed the line in second only to be demoted to 13th after a review of the final corner incident.

Race 2: No such problems for Jordan Williams second time out, only briefly giving up the lead to Henry Surtees to finish well clear of the rest. Surtees seemed to have mechanical problems that saw him going backwards through the pack while there was some brilliant close racing throughout the field.

This championship is far from over so get along to the next rounds at Thruxton on Sep 30, Oct 1 for some cracking racing.
