Well, i can't say that I am disappointed by the two resignations. The time and effort they put in to the magazine was appreciated by many and I don't deny they have a passion for Ginetta but in my view and others the way they managed the helm was not middle of the road enough. I am hoping, like all the membership, that whoever put themselves forward do so without a buyouts view and are able to telephone LNT or DARE for a chat.
The comment made that the older Ginetta's are owner by stuck in the pass members isn't true i think your regalia officer could go along with this. Having been to some Ginetta races, entertaining as they were the majority have no interest in the mark beyond driving a Ginettta that day, i appreciate that may not be all of them but the few as spoke with honestly had no idea of anything ginetta other than one had a imp-engine and that they make kit cars.
In the recent past, the magazine has been so full of G20 and the race series, that members who owned other Ginetta mark's felt that they were being drop from the club. So hey, i agree this is the chance for everybody to have they say. I honestly hope that what ever the future brings and who put themselves forward will embrace all the Ginetta models and the two Ginetta manufacturers in a even handed way and takes the club forward for the club members

Man what is it with you guys and the club? I'm completely new to the cars and they look fantastic and am seriously considering joining the ranks of owners. I have no idea what is going on but frankly find it somewhat off putting when considering buying the car.

Hardly a good welcome...

Dont worry about the political infighting, it happens with most clubs. Just enjoy the cars for what they are, and 98% of the owners are like minded. Its a pity that this forum has seen so much bad blood by so few that gives a really bad impression.-- After all you can't please all of the people all of the time.
