My favourite action (DARE) Ginetta G4 pic.
(no I didn't take it, I just think everything about it sums the G4 up - speed, poise, curves everywhere... and a road tax disc!
Phil C's lovely G4 above has been for sale for a while at £27,00 ONO.(no I didn't take it, I just think everything about it sums the G4 up - speed, poise, curves everywhere... and a road tax disc!

Now it appears for sale elsewhere - but with a premium attached!
Wonder if they are selling 'on behalf', or have bought it?
Got the build year wrong, it should be 2000, not 2001. And I wonder if Phil's period 1967 F reg still comes with the car?

I have passed on the message and he says hello to you both
No idea why the post went twice (now deleted) so sorry about that but it's a while since some photos were shown. John you should have bought it many years ago, it's a good un! Car was featured in Practical Classics March 2003. Registration refers to the original owners full initials plus G4 of course. It was going to be G4 LWB originally as it's the first. H

Harvey, if you're referring to me (you must be because it was in my sights!).Edited by ginV8 on Tuesday 26th May 09:51
Where did you spot it for sale? Did you get a bargain?
I thought I was always first to spot a Dare for sale, G4, DZ etc. Actually, anyone ever seen a TG for sale?
I'm constantly looking - bloody hard now - for that elusive G11 coupe No. 1. Will I ever find it?

Lovely! Enjoy.
John, there is a DZ for sale at the moment in Germany, if you haven't seen it?

Hope you're well. Yes, I've seen it! It's been up for sale for some time now, even at auction last year at Bonhams, see link - I fear he wants too much. Estimate up to £20k.
It's the one I was gazumped by Mr Luck for when it came up for sale here. I believe he got it for 8k. Then he sold it to someone down south I think, who then sold to the German guy.

So, too much for me at the moment. I think the price will come down.
However, there is another still out there (hidden in a garage, something I know an awful lot about ), the purple (old Rover colour) Dare DZ.
Was going to have a look at it on the way back from Spadges (that was some time ago, obviously!) but owner wasn't in.
Where does the bl**dy time go!
