A 'Continuation' Sebring G4...
Like the way it has 'Revolution' type wheels - trying to copy the mag wheels of the original? But all black alloys is too modern.
I understand, although the car looks bright red in the pic (of car when engine had blown first time) on back of Trev's book I did, it was actually more a maroon red. see link at foot.
Also, being picky, when the engine was changed to Jim Clark's in the race, lots of progressive mods were done, one was that they drilled extra holes at the rear, between the lights. The stop light on the roof and extra vent. The door side screens were unusual too in that they were curved at the rear (see pic link). Continuation has rear lights wrong, stop lights were on the outside, what an error!
Needs the race number 52 as well.

I do like very much the air venting scoops ( this?) on the rear screen.
Yesterday I've been racing (well, a sort of...) and it's still very hot for me: I think I should go the same way adding a couple of those vents on the rear screen and a couple of smaller ones ( this) on the side screens to force some air into the "oven"...

I wasn't aware that G4's had raced at Sebring - can someone fill me in the story please?
Cheers, Paul
Not a lot of people know that... Cheers, Paul
BUT Ginetta nuts should!
It's better than that... Jim Clark (yes, 'the') almost, almost drove it! Just imagine Chapman having a fit - he would have if he'd known.
I'll fill you in later. Keep watching.

i wil race mine with aeroscreen, i do prefer ti be in it without the hardtop, but perhaps prefer how it looks with the top on

Just got the entry through for HSCC Cadwelll Park. As well as me in the G18, there's a G15 and two G4's In the Road Sports race. I should have a couple of spare tickets if anyone's interested.
how did it go in the end Paul??In the Roadsports race, the G4s came 1st and 2nd in race 1
and justin murphy repeated the win in race 2
Badly! Started from back of grid and then an oil hose failed in the first lap. Lucky really as found a crack in the wishbone mount...
Chassis is now all brazed up, and ready to go for testing at the Silverstone Classic press day next week. Got a confirmed entry for the Classic which is something to look forward to!
