Fair point, that hole you cut looks dreadful though yes I know it's hidden by carpet and a seat but that would bug me if it was my car. I'm anal
The tank is very close to the body , not using a Dremel because of the sparks, there is two layers of think tape on the edges so not as bad as it looks.Howard- said:

I'm not sure if I expected a serious response, but a local dealer quoted me £500 inc parts and labour. Personally I was happy with a slightly bigger hole and £430 in my pocket. Speaking of which I will get that £70 back when I get round to selling the pump.Hi guys. Hoping to be joining the ST220 club soon. My e46 325 is costing me far too much to fix all the time so its going to go soon. When I went on auto trader and specified petrol, manual and 0-60 in under 8 seconds, I was amazed that these are so cheap and are well kitted out as standard. Main thing that sold me is that the insurance will drop from 1500 on the e46 to 800 on an st220, which for a 20 year old is pretty good. Is there anything major I need to look out for when i'm looking at them or any options that are considered must haves? My only real requirements are for it to be an estate and preferably in blue.
